About
I'm Lily, owner of Forest Paws and Labrador Mum!
My love for animals began in childhood, and I've always felt such a strong connection towards them.
After initially training as a Canine Hydrotherapist, my passion for Animal Welfare led me to study Canine Care, Canine Behaviour and Canine Welfare.
I started Forest Paws as a way to give back to animals, and combine my love of dog care with being outdoors in nature.
I am also qualified in Canine First Aid, am fully insured, and DBS checked, so you can rest assured that your dog is in safe hands.

Services
I believe in quality over quantity when it comes to dog walking, so I do things a bit differently. I only walk dogs from the same household - no pack walking with other dogs from different households. This way I am able to give my full attention to the dogs in my care, ensuring their safety and enjoyment comes first.
ONE-TO-ONE SOLO WALK - 1 HOUR
As a Canine Hydrotherapist I understand canine health conditions, and that the requirements of each dog can vary, which is why I specialise in personalised walks to suit each dogs individual needs. This allows me to cater for all dogs, and also carry on any positive reinforcement training that you are currently working on with them.
Solo walks are ideal if your dog has health conditions, anxiety, behaviour issues, or they don't get on well with other dogs and would benefit from individual attention. I will work with you to personalise their walk to suit their needs.
ONE-TO-ONE SOLO WALK - 30 MINUTES
Ideal for older dogs, or those recovering from illness or injury, who require some gentle exercise to sniff and stretch their legs.
Also for younger puppies who require shorter walks while their bones are still growing. If you are working on any positive reinforcement training with them, I will reinforce the commands that you use to support their learning and development.
SMALL GROUP WALK - SAME HOUSEHOLD - 1 HOUR
For small groups from the same household - whether they are looking for an energetic, fun-filled, adventurous walk, or a slower paced walk to sniff and explore, I will give them the type of walk they all enjoy together!
SMALL GROUP WALK - SAME HOUSEHOLD - 30 MINUTES
For small groups from the same household that require a shorter walk.
Your dog can either be walked directly from home or safely transported to a nearby local walking spot. I always carry plenty of towels so muddy paws will be dried off before they head back indoors!
I can walk your dog daily, weekly, on a regular or occasional basis, or if you are simply out for the day.
Dogs are only ever walked and cared for by me.
I will only ever use positive, reward-based training methods when interacting with your dog
DROP-IN WELFARE VISIT
I also offer drop-in welfare visits, these are ideal if you need someone to check on your pet during the day, giving you peace of mind, ensuring they get all the care and attention that they need while you are away from home.
Services include feeding, change water, administer medication if required, letting out in the garden for a toilet break, playtime and enrichment, to keep them happy until you get home!
FREE MEET & GREET
I offer a free, no obligation meet & greet, where I can get to know you and your dog/s and we can chat about their needs.
Together we will fill out your dog information forms so that I have all the details I need to make sure I can provide the best possible care for them.
If you would like to we can head out for a short walk, this gives me the chance to observe your dog/s in a walking environment and go over any training commands you may have in place.
I look forward to meeting you and your dog!
Kindly note
Dogs must not eat at least 1 hour prior to taking part in a walking service
I am happy to offer walks and drop-in welfare visits on weekends and bank holidays for an additional fee, please see price list for details.
I am happy to use your own lead if you prefer, however for safety reasons I am unable to use retractable leads.
It is the responsibility of the Owner to ensure that their dog is microchipped and wearing a collar with an ID tag.
Sorry I am unable to walk dogs with an aggressive nature.
Thank you
